Footsteps for Africa is a UK based charity that strives to enable children in Kenya to reach their potential as individuals and in the community by helping them to become healthy, educated, self-sustaining and contributing members of their communities

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Footsteps for Africa is a great charity that has made an enormous difference to the lives of so many children in two villages near Nairobi, mainly through education. The funds are passed on in full, as all work in the UK, and most in Kenya is done on a volunteer basis. The money is tightly controlled by a Project Director.

I will be doing the Blenheim Triathlon to raise money for Footsteps. I am going to Kenya in August to a small village outside Nairobi. There I will be teaching at a school, mainly sports and art. Please visit www.footstepsuk.org for more information on the charity. (all donations will go directly to the charity, as I have funded my trip independently)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Footsteps for Africa gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thank you,

Simon Fraser
