Many, many thanks to everyone who has sponsored me. If you haven't already heard I finished the Flora London marathon on Sunday April 13th 2008 in a time of 4 hours and 58 minutes. More importantly, thanks to you all, the sponsorship total is now getting closer and closer to £15,000. I hope that one day Ben is as proud of his mum and dad for helping to achieve this as we are of him.
2008 has been incredibly tough so far for Katy, myself, Jessica and Ben. Our lives are literally on hold with everything revolving around supporting Ben through his tough times. Ben is proving to be a real fighter. The doctors are really pleased with his progress and he is in the category of having a 9 out of 10 chance of making a full recovery. The latest update is that if all goes to the current plan Ben should be all clear by August.
As well as the sponsorship Katy and I owe so much to family and friends for the support we have received during these difficult times.

On December 31st 2007 my much loved 15 month old son, Ben, was diagnosed with cancer. I find it hard to explain the shock, devestation, fear and anger I felt on hearing this news.
CLIC Sargent were quick to visit my wife(Katy), daughter(Jessica) and myself in Leicester Royal Infirmary. They offer support in so many ways to families as they come to terms with the impact of having a child with cancer.
