Raising money for Kids Company

Kids Company was established by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996. We provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people. Many of the 14,000 children we support have experienced severe and multiple trauma. Often these are 'lone children' living in chronic deprivation, with little or no support from the adults in their family. <p> <p> <p> We support these incredibly courageous children and young people by offering a safe, caring, family environment. We deliver services in 38 inner-city schools, two street-level centres, an early intervention therapy house and an over 16s educational academy. In 2007 Kids Company was awarded the Liberty and Justice Human Rights Award

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I will be cycling the 100 miles of the South Downs Way over two days from the 1st May 2009.

I will be raising money for Kids Company, a fantastic charity that offers emotional, practical and educational support to lone and vulnerable children. Following the cycle I will be working with a team of people from The Guardian to offer further support to the charity, raising money and awareness for Kids Company Summer residentials.
