Story
I was hoping against hope that nature would strike me down with swine flu before the day, but fate has been cruel and it looks like I will be dragging myself around the streets of Manchester this Sunday on behalf of the Charles Halle Foundation. Martin informs me that all money raised will go towards the Hallé’s amazing Youth, Education and Community work. - creating opportunities to hear and get involved in music for people that might not usually have the opportunity to access it. The Hallé works with the young and the elderly, with schools, youth groups, young offenders and those with special needs in projects based at The Bridgewater Hall and in all areas of the community across the Greater Manchester region and beyond. It's a great project and well worth supporting.
My training has been going swimmingly so far. I jogged for a bus in February and very nearly got there before spotting a taxi on the other side of the street. Sunday should be a breeze.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Charles Hallé Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Lots of Love
