A close friend died recently of a heart attack aged 44. Barry Phillips was a loving husband and father and did voluntary work as a 1st responder for the North West Ambulance service. So in memory of him I'm running Blackpool marathon to raise much needed funds for the North West Air Ambulance service. This great service requires over £3.5million a year to operate, so thank you very much for your donation. It really means a lot to me and to North West Air Ambulance.
