Mesothelioma is a cancer caused by asbestos inhalation for which there is no cure. Normally symptoms of the cancer do not appear until decades after the inhalation has taken place.

A while ago we knew nothing about this horrible disease but have been thrown into the deep end as my father in law, Keith has been diagnosed. Keith has always been extremely fit, never smoked and was skiing in January without any signs this was upon him. Good news is Keith is in the early stages of the cancer.

We have decided to raise money for Mesothelioma UK, who support people going through this terrible disease and want to raise awareness as asbestos is still out there!

We would love for you to get involved by challenging yourself to get from Leicester to Skeggy by any means without a motor on 28th June 2014!  This could be biking, running or even on a scooter!  To get involved please email stonks@cascaid.co.uk.
