Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 30 January 2010 I took part in the Great Nottingham Jump, an extreme charity skydiving event where students, staff and graduates from the University of Nottingham jumped out of a plane in the name of charity.
The charity I have chosen to support is the Kent Air Ambulance. Based in my home village of Marden, the Kent Air Ambulance provides an emergency helicopter service to the people of Kent. Responding swiftly to over 13,600 emergency calls, the Kent Air Ambulance can reach any part of within 15 minutes flying time and can transport patients to hospital in a fraction of the time taken by land ambulance. The Kent Air Ambulance receives no funding from the Government, National Lottery or NHS, so relies almost entirely upon the generosity of the public to raise the £1.7 million needed to keep it running.
So please sponsor me now through JustGiving to help keep this life saving helicopter in action!
