Salford Lads’ and Girls’ Club opened in 1903 in one of the poorest parts of the inner city. The founding aims, getting kids off the streets, involving them in sports, cultural, educational and employment opportunities is what the volunteers continue today. The club has over 150 members aged 10 - 19.
