Personal message:

The 2008 shenanigan of Slightly Clive Racing, in conjunction with Practical Classics magazine.

Our mission: To introduce tweed, wicker and gingham to places hitherto underexposed to stuff-upper-lip tweeness - gin and tonics on the shore of the Caspian, a picnic in Iran, cream teas in Kosovo.

To achieve this, we'll be covering 6000 miles through 20 countries in an astonishingly brown Rover 2200TC.

Route: England, France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Syria, Bulgaria, Serbia, Kosova, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, France, England.

Kick off is on July 21st 2008. Follow our progress at www.practicalclassics.co.uk and www.slightlycliveracing.com

The trip will form the basis of a major feature in Practical Classics magazine, so publicity potential for sponsors abounds. A donation of £25 will secure one square foot of advertising space on the CliveRover's shapely exterior, including sticker printing costs.
