Terry and Simon would like to ask you to kindly donate to two causes - The Southend Hospital Chemotherapy Unit and the Queens Hospital Romford Cancer Unit.
After close family members were diagnosed with Breast Cancer we decided that it was time we do something to show our support.
Simon's Mum Shirley suffered with Hodkins Lymphoma Cancer and had intense Chemotherapy treatment at the Queens Hospital Romford, she has now luckily recovered from cancer when she was given the all clear last year.
Terry's aunt is currently undergoing Chemotherapy at Southend Hospital.
At both hospitals the staff there provide a very friendly service and refreshments for all patients which is why we would like to raise money for them to ensure they can keep on providing the same service to others in the future.
We each lead a lifestyle which is (was) lacking in exercise and we have undergone an intense training program running up to 3 times a week and our goal is to cross the line along with raising money.
Please give what you can as any amount will make a difference.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Southend Hospital Charity gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
