Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. As the title suggests we are going to do a sponsored slim in aid of Bobath Childrens Therapy Centre Wales. At the end of our challenge we will be 100lbs lighter, (between us!!), and Bobath will have more than a few extra £££££'s! We will do this by July 2nd 2010, Lindsey's 30th birthday!!! Should be a good night!!!

Joshua, Lindseys little man, has Cerebral Palsy, (right sided hemiplegia), and attends blocks of therapy at Bobath Childrens Therapy Centre Wales. It costs over £4000 to fund each childs block of therapy, overall the centre costs over £800,000 a year to run, so every penny really counts.

Bobath really is a wonderful centre with fantastic people there, who make you feel at home. They work the Children hard but keep it fun at all times, it's a fantastic play session with astounding results! Joshua has been there several times now, in fact he is currently recieving his 3rd block of therapy there. This time being Speech and Occupational Therapy with the lovely Nicola and Colette.

Since his first sessions at Bobath Josh has learnt to walk, has started talking (says 50 words now!!!), and is beginning to involve his affected "Clever Handie" in play. He feels so pleased with himself when he achieves something new like taking the lid on and off a pen or saying a new word, all with the help of Bobath therapy.

Please give whatever you can and help a child recieve therapy to enable them to learn to achieve what you or I would take for granted.
