My story

Thank you for your interest in FilmAid's benefit screening of Danny Boyle's Award Winning Slumdog Millionaire at BAFTA on Wednesday 10th December 2008. It proved to be very special evening attended by the director, Danny Boyle, producer Chris Colson, cast members Dev Patel and Freida Pinto with celebrity guest Charles Dance marking the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

We are still actively raising funds in response to recent events in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in support of FilmAid's programmes in Africa.

Please continue to make donations on this website so we can achieve our target of £25,000 even if you couldn't make the screening! Make sure you TICK the GiftAid Box. By doing this we are able to claim 28% GiftAid on voluntary donations made by UK Tax Payers.
