The Sophie Barringer Trust raises funds for support, treatment and research in childhood cancer care.

Our achievements include: Sophie’s Place – a dedicated children’s assessment area which helped over 3,500 children in the first year.

Sponsorship of dream holidays for terminally ill children and their families, Funding research into future treatments for childhood cancers and Sponsorship of New Forest holidays for sick children and their families.

My story

Thanks for visiting this fundraising page for Sophie's Appeal Snowdon Stroll sponsored by awimaway.com's Trek 4 a Cheque.

Please help our team to raise as much as possible for Sophie’s Appeal by sponsoring us to climb Wales’ highest peak, Snowdon.

This sponsord walk is being led by double world-record-holding explorer Harish Kohli, founder of Awimaway.com and will follow in the footsteps of the original pioneers of the mining industry in North Wales.

The journey will consist of climbing and scrambling up the zigzaging track over frost shattered shale and windswept plateaus before reaching the summit.

The team hope to complete the stroll in around five hours raising as much as they can for Sophie's Appeal.
