Why your donation matters

I left my ex-partner after 4 years, I had tried many times before but hadn’t had the courage to leave him. This left me homeless. I stayed with family and friends until i could get a place at Albert Street. It was hard at first as it felt like I was living in people’s pockets, I had been used to having my own place. It felt quite volatile because of the mix of people, I was partying and drinking until all times of the night. I knew i needed help and to make a change.

Solas have helped me to on my feet again, I have now passed OCN cookery and have been volunteering. I have been involved in The Loop Solas’s residents board and have taken part in interviewing prospective Staff. This is about getting back to a normal life again without all the bad stuff, with Solas's help i can get there.
