STAR provides opportunities in arts and recreation for young people in Somerset. It assists disadvantaged children and young people, up to the age of 18, who may be in the care of the local authority or classed as 'in need' as defined in the Children's Act 1989. STAR also assists young people who were formerly 'in care' up to the age of 25.
