My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

MS is one of the most prevalent diseases of the central nervous system (brain & spinal cord) and directly affects an estimated 2.5 million people around the world.

Having the disease usually means having a wide range of symptoms such as fatigue, balance and co-ordination problems and visual & cognitive disturbances (for more information visit www.msif.org). These symptoms, however, may vary from person to person, making it sometimes more difficult for the person with MS and the people around him/her to understand and/or accept. There is no drug that can cure MS, but treatments are now available which can modify the course of the disease. It is thus important to raise money in order to support further research & development in the field of MS and help win the battle against MS.

You can also check out this link for the profile of the month of March 2007 on MSIF for more information on me: http://www.msif.org/en/people_with_ms/people_profiles/profile_translat.html

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis International Federation will receive your money faster so pitch in whatever you can; every penny is appreciated!:).

Many thanks for your support and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!;)
Best,
Sonja
