We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

My sister and I are teaming up this year for the Pretty Muddy Race for Life event in Finsbury Park!

When I was 14 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, I had chemotherapy treatment and here we are in 2015 and I'm celebrating the 10 year anniversary of being declared in remission. Also, many friends and family have also had to face cancer in some way so I really want to take part in Race for Life in order to make it so fewer and fewer people have to.

As many people know, it isn't just the person with cancer who gets affected so that is why my sister Olivia is joining me in this mud-tastic event. I'm glad to have her by my side - even though she is hugely fitter than I am!!

So yeah, we're joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring us - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring us, we will beat cancer sooner.

Don't forget to add Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.

Sponsor us now, and help me show cancer that hell hath no fury like women in pink.
