Following on from our successful walk of Hadrian's Wall Path last September Richard and I will be undertaking the 100 mile trek of the South Downs Way National trail. Again our chosen charity is the NSPCC the only children's charity with statutory powers that enables them to protect children at risk. A few facts to consider that may affect your decision when sponsoring us and hopefully encouraging you to dig deeper. * I child is killed every week by their parent or carer * 27% of rape victims are children under the age of 16 * On an average day in Essex there are over 720 children, that we know of, who are considered to be at risk Once again a big thanks to C2C Rail for train tickets and sponsorship of £250.00 & RBC Dexia-IS who have already promised their support to the tune of another £500.00.
