The CharityHOPEHIV is a charity dedicated to providing the building blocks necessary to help lift African orphans out of poverty. It is their belief that the future ofAfricawill largely be decided by the next generation of young leaders who emerge from the community of those orphaned by AIDS. From this generation of orphans a generation of leaders can come. Leaders of families, schools, communities, nations and businesses. HOPEHIV is committed to working with local African community partners to pioneer new ideas and share lessons that have worked well in practice, in areas such as entrepreneurship, peer education, street children, leadership development and more.

In November 2008 we held a charity golf day at the 2010 Ryder Cup course at the Celtic Manor resort in Wales. It was such a resounding success, that we have decided to repeat the event on Tuesday 20th October 2009! We were able to present a cheque to HOPEHIV for over £12k for last year's efforts, and hope to be able to do even better this year!

As well as the Celtic Manor golf day, some SpiriTel staff members are also looking to play four rounds of golf in a day to raise funds for HopeHIV at Hazlemere golf course in Buckinghamshire on Monday July 6. Two teams from the London and Wigan offices will be teeing off at 5.30am in an effort to play 72 holes in a day so please dig deep to sponsor this mad bunch for a good cause!
