Our personal message:

Please help us raise money for the Big Issue.

Why?

They're a good cause. Being Down & Out is not much fun even in London or Paris.

Why are we doing it?

Well - we bought a copy of the Big Issue and the ad for the ride caught my eye... so I suggested it to Jenny.. who laughed. After sleeping on it - but not thinking about it enough - I suggested that if Jenny would cycle from London to Paris in 3 days - I would go on the wagon for 6 months. :-) Easy if you say it quickly.

I should have suggested 3 months - because she accepted.

So... we're in training!

The ride is in July - but the fund raising deadline is MAY - so please sponsor us now.

Many thanks for your support.

The bike ride schedule is...

24th July 2008

DAY 1:LONDON TO PORTSMOUTH
85miles
1200m ASCENT

25th July 2008
DAY 2:CAEN TO BERNAY
59miles 630m ASCENT

26th July 2008
DAY 3:BERNAY TO THE EIFFEL TOWER, PARIS
100miles 1035m ASCENT

(A total of 244 miles)
