About the charity
SPW is the global leader in youth-led international development. Every
week we directly reach out to more than 350,000 young people in rural
sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, and positively affect the lives of
countless more. Our Volunteer Peer Educators from our programme
countries and across the globe work with young people and their
communities to empower and educate young people to bring about essential
changes in their lives, their communities and their country. Youth
empowerment and leadership, sexual and reproductive health education,
and encouraging life skills and livelihood opportunities lie at the core
of our work.
