Stand Up for Toilets and Clean Water Day on February 12th 2009 will raise money to be used to repair, renovate and build rainwater tanks and toilets in rural Primary Schools in Uganda. If we are able to raise £2000, this will pay for the installation of a 30,000 litre stone and cement water tank that will last for 20 years.With £2500 we could construct a pit latrine which is expected to be in use for 3-5 years (depending on the number of children using it).
