In May/June 2011, four firefighters will be cycling all around Northern Ireland, visiting all 68 fire stations en route and giving fire safety and health promotion talks at local primary schools.
We're doing this to raise money for NI Chest Heart and Stroke. who have just started a prevention campaign to cut the number of people suffering from chest, heart and stroke-related illnesses. This ties in very well with the NIFRS fire-prevention campaigns that have been so successful over the past few years.
