Well I did it - 81 miles in 5hr 29min 38sec through the most beautiful highland scenery around 2 lochs and over a mountain which still had some small patches of snow! It wasn't quite as mad as I thought it could be when I entered this race (www.etapecaledonia.co.uk). To make all the effort worthwhile I thought I would raise money for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres. So please dig deep and sponsor me online.
