On July 31 I will be taking part in a sponsored cycle ride, from Chrysalis’ Cayton Bay Lodge, Eastfield to , north shore, , along the coast road, to raise funds for a respite holiday programme for the disabled and their carers.I was born in 1959 with cerebral palsy. I am married to Sally and we have a beautiful daughter Rose who is attending college. Over the past 51 years I have experienced and overcome many difficulties and now run my own business, Lazarus Solutions, a company which supplies disability equipment and undertakes building adaptations.
Chrysalis has run holidays for adults with learning disabilities at its centre in , and throughout the north for many years. Now a new centre in Eastfield near , will enable even more people to take part in holidays that are designed to teach life skills in an environm
