My story
Thank you very much for visiting my fundraising page.
Your donation will really mean a lot to me and to The Cri Du Chat Syndrome Support Group. The group need all your donations to raise awareness of the syndrome and to provide support and information for those looking for information on Cri Du Chat. For more info on the syndrome see: www.criduchat.co.uk/.
I will be running the Swindon half marathon this year on October 11th. This will be my second 1/2 marathon and i have set myself a time of 2hours 8min to beat, which was my time last year.
My daughter Amelia was born with Cri du chat and her development is typical of the syndrome with Amelia who is now 7 still not able to walk/ talk. But despite this she is a happy little girl with a great sense of mischief. Please donate to the group as your donation really helps the families get together once a year for discussions, research progress and a chance to talk to others with similar stories.
