A year ago our good friend Nigel sadly passed away following a battle against a virulent form of cancer. To help celebrate his life and raise a bit of cash, we'll be taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday 5 October with Nigel's wife Claire.
We'll be raising money for Nigel's requested charity, Ward 8 at the Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary, which is part of the Newcastle Healthcare Charity and who were an enormous help to Nigel and his family throughout his treatment.
