UPDATE: We finished the marathon in four hours and 45 minutes in what were terrible conditions! Wind, rain and hail .... just awful. A big thank you again to those who have sponsored us. Steve and Jim
As some of you will be aware, Jim underwent surgery for prostate cancer in January last year. As soon as the operation was over he decided he wanted to run the London Marathon. Unfortunately, fresh traces of cancer have recently been uncovered and Jim will be starting a course of radiotherapy as soon as the race is over on 13 April.
Thus we are raising money for the Prostate Cancer Charity as we run the race together in what we hope will be a time under five hours.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Prostate Cancer Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
