Over a year ago I was approached by a friend of mine to see if I would be interested in helping raise £50k for crucial new facilities for the Childrens Trust in Tadworth.  

His idea was to organise a bike ride, for as many people that were interested, from Biarritz in France, via the Pyrenees finishing a week later in Barcelona, Spain.  So, on May 17th a team of us will be setting off on our bikes for a 450 mile cycle of a lifetime!

With the start date looming I am both excited and nervous and, remarkably, getting quite fond of lycra.
