Riding with Kings - BHS challenge ride 2009
Ye-ha! Over the target, but more to come - well probably - all those who have said you will but haven't yet...
Only a few weeks to go and I'll be there :-)

Hi and thanks for visiting. I'm getting close to the fundraising target now, but that doesn't mean that it can't be exceeded!
I've finally created my own pages about the challenge with lots more information which can be found at www.stevemoulton.co.uk/rwk.htm.
Not too long to go now - I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. I've left my previous messages below, if it all seems confusing, well it is, but that shouldn't detract from the basic message: the British Horse Society welfare department does a fantastic job at all levels and is well worth supporting.

About time I made an update and firstly I should give a big thanks to World Aircraft Sales who have been so generous with their donation of £1,000. Ok its not very horsey, but if you ever want to buy or sell an aircraft then www.avbuyer.com should be your first port of call.
I shall be stepping up the fundraising now, so those who know me - expect to get pestered a bit.
Some of you have been asking if I'm worried about the security aspects of doing this challenge. The way I see it is that there are a huge number of people in India and thankfully not that many terrorists, I hope that I'm right. To be honest, having visited India five times in the past, I'm more worried about, how can I put this politely, bowel function. Can you imagine how challenging it will be to ride for five or six hours a day relying on Immodium to get you through the day? Hopefully we won't see any terrorists and I won't need my brown corduroy johdpurs.
I'm putting together a website that will contain more information, in the mean time, my original post here continues below.
Thanks for visiting, I'll be riding in Rajahstan, India for eight days in September 2009. The purpose of the challenge is to raise funds for BHS Welfare, but for me it's one of my life time ambitions.
Now you might think that's great - I sponsor Steve and he gets a free holiday - but I pledge that I will sponsor myself for the whole cost of the trip, so you can be sure that every penny donated in sponsorship goes straight to the BHS and will help to support the great work they do.
I'll be adding more content as this develops but in the mean time thanks for visiting and thanks for your sponsorship.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The British Horse Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
