<p>Don&rsquo;t be put off by the &ldquo;ol&rsquo; fat bloke&rdquo; in the picture another year older but back to&nbsp;make it round the streets of the London Marathon in April 2012!</p> <p>I&nbsp;am proud to have been asked to run around the VLM again and raise much needed funds for the South West Children's Heart Circle. They are a local, small charity run entirely by volunteers. All monies go to supporting critically ill children and their families.</p> <p>From The Cardiac Ward in the Bristol Children's Hospital, the Heart Circle provides much needed extra funding towards equipment, which is outside the NHS budget, used during operations and treatments, as well as the basic items parents may need while staying on the ward. (Many Parents get stranded, dressed only in PJ&rsquo;s after an emergency ambulance ride to hospital!)</p> <p>They also organise parties and days out - bowling, the zoo, horse riding and activity weekends - for children who have been treated and are recovering from treatment in Bristol.</p> <p>I Know money is tight at the moment but any amount large or small will help. So please dig deep and help me raise some money so that these children who have only just started out in life, get a chance, to run again.
