My story

On July 12th I will be competing in the British 10K London Run and raising money for YouthNet.   It’s a fantastic cause and with Vodafone committing to match whatever I raise, I have certainly not struggled with motivation to train for the race!  I know first hand how hard the YouthNet team work and what a great job they do so it means a lot to me that I can contribute towards helping them continue to do such a wonderful job that touches the lives of so many young people.

YouthNet offers a unique blend of information, advice and support on anything and everything a young person needs.  Whether it's emergency help in times of crisis or the chance to talk anonymously to peers or experts, YouthNet is always there for young people 24 hours a day, seven days a week though two award-winning websites: www.thesite.org and www.do-it.org.uk.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: YouthNet gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Just imagine yourself crossing the finishing line with a massive smile on your face - be routing for you, Lynn Donation by Lynn Pickford 06/07/09
