What price would you put on a comforting hug?

On Tuesday, Sandra is looking forward to being spoilt: she is going to have a cup of tea, a slice of cake and most importantly, a comforting ‘hug’.

But why is that so special?

Sandra is caring for her terminally ill husband. Every day she copes with extreme fatigue and loneliness caused by the inevitable truth she has to face. Every day she questions her abilities, she is riddled with doubts, consumed by guilt and convinced that she is not doing enough – but she is and she is doing it with your help.

Your support helps fund “Time4Carers”, a carer support group run by specialist St. Margaret's nurses.
