Yorkhill Champions League · 5 May 2009

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

On the 13th June 2009, Strathclyde Universtiy Football Club are entering a 7-aside team into the Yorkhill Champions League.  We have a 7 team squad and we hope to raise £700 for the Yorkhill Childrens Foundation.  Each team that enters the 32 team tournament is asked to raise a minimum of £700 for the charity, to help meet the Yorkhill Childrens Foundation's target of raising £25,000 in total from the event.  Profits from the day will go directly to the Childrens Foundation, the charity which provides crucial funding for various projects and medical equipment, all of which directly benefit the children and their familiy at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill in Glasgow.

Team members for the day will be: Mark Shanta, Paul Cross, Andy Hornell, Johnny Parr, Pete Hamilton, Davie Hill and Johnny Gordon.  It really is a great cause so please donate what you can.

A big thank you from all of the team members and Strathclyde University Football Club Committee.
