As many of you know my lovely mother has just been diagnosed with breast cancer, her bravery and positive attitude has inspired me to do something to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. I am holding a strawberry tea party with a twist (strawberry cocktails!) on Saturday August the 16th at 12:00pm....

I would love to think you could all be there and show your support, I have made this a ladies only day and it will mainly be a chance for everyone to get together and have a lovely day and a few drinks whilst hopefully raising some money for a great cause.

I have been in touch with a few local businesses who have already agreed to donate some lovely prizes for the raffle an there will be plenty of opportunities such as games and quizzes to come away with some other lovely prizes on the day.

I will be providing the usual afternoon tea with a few little twists and plenty of cocktails and fizz! I will be setting an entry fee of £2.50 and there will be lots of other little things to donate towards, obviously they are all voluntary donations but this is this point of the day and I’m sure everyone will want to do their bit.
