Case study: donations in action
Ivy- Street Worker, Zimbabwe: "We are now approaching winter in Zimbabwe. There are a lot of viruses this season because of the cold, like Pneumonia, TB and flu. On the 1st May, one girl aged 13 was found dead. No postmortem was done so I don't know what caused the death as it is very expensive for a postmortem in Zimbabwe. No one claimed the body and it was buried by prisoners. There was some donation of blankets to the girls from the Catholic Church".

Street children all too often do not have trustworthy adults in their lives. Our trained street workers fill this role and are the key to helping these children. They can tell us what the children need and through their relationships with them can help provide pathways to family, education, better health, safety and identity for the children.
