Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have dedicated this page to Cpl John Rigby and his family. John died in Iraq in 2007 on his 24th birthday and I had the honour of supporting his family at that difficult time. The Legion did a fantastic job of safeguarding his memory and looking after those left behind; as a serviceman myself, this charity is very close to my heart.
The Royal British Legion is a hugely important charity which safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. They are one of the UK’s largest membership organisations and recognised as custodians of Remembrance.
They help serving and ex-Service personnel and their families. Not just those who fought in the two World Wars, but also those involved in the many conflicts since 1945 and those still fighting today.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
