We're raising money for BEN, the automotive industry charity, which provides care and support to employees and their dependants in times of need.
In association with Car Dealer magazine, BEN are organising a rally around the UK to raise much needed funds. The challenge is to buy a banger for no more than £250, and follow the route from BEN's offices in Ascot, all the way to John O'Groats and back down again in three days! At the end of the trip all cars will be entered into a special auction with the aim of making as much money as possible for BEN.
We've entered a team and have pledged to raise a minimum of £2,500 by the start of the rally on November 9th.
We've got the car, a reliable red Mazda 626 estate, which we plan to customise in the style of Starsky and Hutch, now we need to raise the money!
