MISSION MALAWI - raising money for ACTION AID!

Hi guys and girls!

First of all a massive thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be doing a gruelling 500km bike ride across Malawi in May 2012, to raise money for Action Aid, which is a charity very close to my heart. Action Aid supports people in Malawi who are most in need and living with HIV. A shocking and upsetting 1 million people in Malawi are HIV positive - that's 14% of the population.

Action Aid takes every penny of the money raised straight to the heart of the problem, and whilst in Africa I will be lucky enough to visit a number of the projects which my money will be funding and see first hand the difference it is making to their communities.

As most of you know, Im not exactly Chris Boardman, so a 500km bike trek through the middle of Africa in the height of summer is going to be TOUGH!! I hope I can count on your support, and reach the challenging target of £3,500 towards this excellent cause.
