Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm running the London Marathon on 26 April 2009 and if you know me you'll know that doing so is the very definition of 'a big ask'! Although I play football twice a week, as I type this I am seriously overweight and, until I started training on 5 January 2009, hadn't gone running since my schooldays! So I know it's going to be one of the hardest things I've ever done. So, bearing that in mind, I'd be hugely grateful if you were to sponsor me - your donation will spur me on when I'm out running at the crack of dawn three times a week, and will inspire me (I hope!) on the day itself.

The charity I'm raising money for is The PSP Association - it's the charity of the year at IPC Media, where I work. The charity aims to increase awareness of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a serious brain disorder (go here http://www.pspeur.org/index.html to find out more).

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The PSP Association gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
