What started as a casual conversation earlier this year about the challenge of doing the coast to coast cycle route suddenly turned into a 150 mile off road cycle ride from Workington to Tynemouth over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

It will definitely be a personal challenge and probably will result in quite a bit of pain!!!, This should be for just a few days, whilst there are others who face a much greater challenge every day and need all the help that's available. For that reason I decided to turn this cycle ride into something that will make a difference to a very wothwhile cause. 

There are so many good and worthy charities that deserve support but having witnessed the care and consideration provided by Katherine House Hospice and the vital part played at a very difficult time this is the charity I decided I wanted to support.
