I had initially thought that my first marathon wasn't going to be that tricky but it transpires that the motorbikes in the photo are not competing.

On a serious note I'm asking you to help me raise funds for The British Red Cross (www.redcross.org.uk) by sponsoring my run in this years London Marathon. This charity responds to crises and emergencies in the UK and around the globe providing support and relief to those in need, the most recent appeal being to provide much needed aid to those lives impacted by the violence that has engulfed Kenya.
