Right To Play is an international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play programs to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Right To Play trains local community leaders as Coaches to deliver our programs in more than 20 countries affected by war, poverty, and disease in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.”

My story

In October, I will be running in my first ever half marathon, to raise money for a little-known but very special charity: Right To Play.

I was inspired to raise money for this charity as it is focused on improving the lives of children, specifically through locally delivered sport and play programmes. Sport has given me many good times - I'd love it to be accessible to children who have suffered through war, poverty or other negative experiences - it could improve not only their health but also their life skills and confidence. Please sponsor me now, so that together we can help - dig deep, and I'll train hard!!
