Event: Walk for One Million Hatfield House, on 11 October 2014
We target what’s important to stop ovarian cancer devastating lives.

Story

I was diagnosed with Stage 3c ovarian cancer last November after being unwell for a few months.  The symptoms of OC vary widely from person to person and the vast majority of women don't know what to look for.  Many GPs also misdiagnose OC because of the nebulous symptoms.  The money raised from Walk for One Million will go towards increasing awareness, hopefully leading to earlier diagnosis and improved survival rates.

I am now in remission and feeling really well. I have been lucky enough to receive an incredible amount of support from friends and family.  If anyone reading this prefers not to, or cannot afford to, sponsor me, that's absolutely fine!   But please do share a link to Target Ovarian Cancer (www.targetovariancancer.org.uk) on your Facebook page to help increase awareness.

Thanks!
