Peace and blessings...
It makes difficult reading, I know. So I don’t need quote figures on the devastation wrought in Gaza…
I don’t need to detail how many people lost their lives,
how many children orphaned,
how many women widowed,
how many families destroyed,
how many livelihoods obliterated….
You know full well.
My next point would be that we must do something about it.
I’ll be skydiving on Saturday 28 March 2009... Quite simply that means that I’ll be jumping out of an aircraft at 15,000 feet. I see some jaws drop. (My mum chased me around the house with a snooker cue when I told her… actually I didn’t tell her… she overheard.) Don’t worry, I’ll be strapped to an instructor. And, I’ll have a parachute. And of course I’ll be in His (swt) protection.
I aim to raise... No... sorry... WE (see footnote) aim to raise £1,500, I figured one penny for every foot that I'll descend... makes sense right?
This money will go towards providing humanitarian aid, that is food, drugs, blankets and clean water.
Footnote: I say ''we'' because this is a collective effort :-) Tell your friends, and tell your friends to tell their friends... Together, by His grace, you and I will raise £1,500. Actually, let that be the absolute minimum…
