Please help to motivte us by sponsoring us through five physically and mentally exerting challenges!

We are undertaking 2 half marathons, a 1 mile swim, a sky dive and 'The Three Peak Challenge in 24 hours' in order to raise money to support Malawi Healthcare.

Malawi:  1 in 5 children never see their 5th birthday.  Adult life expectancy is 39-45 years. 80% of Malawians live in rural areas.   HIV, Malaria, Cholera, various infections and ther illnessess contribute to this. 

How your money can help:

Public Health Education Campaign:  To pay for two Health Surveillance Assistants to visit local churches to talk about a variety of public health issues such as HIV, Malaria, Hygiene costs £10 per training session.

Drug Revolving Fund:  Medicines are purchased from the district pharmacy and sold to patients by trained volunteers. Ripple Africa need money for training and to expand the programme.  £5 pays for two mosquito nets, £6 pays for basic medicines for 50 patients.

Bicycle Ambulances:  We want to raise money to buy bicycle ambulances.  In rural areas they are an ideal solution to getting patients to the nearest health centre. £230 each.
