The Asian elephant's natural habitat is disappearing. We need to be proactive if we are to save them from extinction in the wild.

The solution: wildlife corridors. We are raising funds to buy strips of land between remaining protected forests so that elephants and other local wildlife can move freely between them. It is a huge task but we are not alone. We are working together with the World Land Trust and the Wildlife Trust of India.

From June to September 2008 our spectacular herd of 15 life-sized topiary elephants will be touring the UK and Ireland as part of the survival tour campaign to raise awareness and funds for our current corridor project in Kerala, south India.

Once secured, this corridor will allow 5,000 Asian elephants and other local wildlife to move freely between two protected forests and begin to have a more natural roaming life again.

Also, our partnership with The Royal Parks Foundation means we can also highlight the role of the royal parks as a valuable corridor for wildlife in and around London.
