Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

As you are probably aware Mike Sutton (Carol's husband and Claire & Sarah's Dad) passed away in Queenscourt Hospice on September 15th 2007 after a 9 month battle with a Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor.

Queenscourt costs £4000 a day to run and has 10 beds. This equates to £400 per bed per day. As Mike was in Queenscourt for 12 days we would like to raise £4,800 to pay for someone else to have the same amazing level of care that he received from the Angels at Queenscourt.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Queenscourt Hospice will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

So far we have raised £1241.38 offline through the following things:

"Elf Mail" Christmas Card Delivery Service at Paymentshield

2 Car Boot Sales in October and November - selling lots of kindly donated things and all the junk from home!

Sarah and her friends Nicola, Vicky and Amanda's  "Nearly Naked Run" round Ormskirk in December.

In the near future we are going to host a fundraising quiz night. If you are interested in attending this, have any other fundraising ideas or any items you would like to donate to either the Car Boot Sales or as Raffle Prizes please contact Claire by email on claire@sutton104.freeserve.co.uk

In May Claire and her best friend Katharine Dorpman, along with Claire's godmother Susan Williams and her Daughter Lorna Henshall-Williams will be taking part in the Star Trekk Ladies Night Walk and are asking you to please sponsor them through this site.

Please donate generously to the Angels at Queenscourt

Many thanks for your support.

Carol, Claire, Sarah and all our friends and family who have offered their help!

xXx
