Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have embarked on a mission to climb the highest peaks in Europe for health, happiness and to raise money for the NSPCC. You can read about my adventures here:
http://suzannetakesyouup.wordpress.com/
I don't have a time scale as yet or a definitive list of the all the mountains I'll climb but I'm aiming to get at least the British ones done by the end of the summer before moving on to ones abroad!
I feel very strongly about making a difference to children who are suffering and that's why I choose the NSPCC as my charity.
Everyday, the NSPCC is fighting against cruelty to children:
-> They campaign for changes to legislation, policy and practice to ensure they best protect children.
-> They work at a national, regional and local level, influencing, mobilising and educating the public against cruelty.
-> They provide a 24 hour helpline and therapeutic centres for children in need.
-> They work with organizations and professional networks to help them protect children. They can intervene when a child is at risk.
87 % per cent of their funding is from donations.
Cruelty to children is UNACCEPTABLE...and we are not talking about children living on the other side of the world...we are talking about children living next to us, someone in our child's class. . .in front of us....
They need us...I will do my best for them...but they need your help too....
You might like to make a small donation every time I climb a mountain or a one off donation. No amount is too small and if you can't afford a donation encouragement on my blog or by any other means will be very valuable support.
