Story

Thanks for visiting my Justgiving page.

The Pennine Way is England’s oldest and longest walking trail (258 miles). I’m aiming to walk the full distance in 10 days in early September this year, hopefully raising £500 for Rossendale Hospice along the way.

The Hospice is a local charity that provides physical, emotional and spiritual support for people with cancer and other life-limiting conditions. It relies heavily on donations as well as volunteers giving up their time. I’d really appreciate it if you could make a small contribution to help them.

I’m going to be walking the route on my own and camping along the way. Shockingly, no-one else really fancies doing it! Even Sarah has conveniently arranged to be working in Sardinia around the same time…

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Rossendale Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now! Thanks,

Nick
